About this program
Our Digital Literacy program equips learners with practical, hands-on knowledge they can apply immediately. The course is beginner-friendly and designed with rural and urban participants in mind.

- Access online markets, banking and digital tools for small businesses.
- Practice strong password hygiene, identify phishing and stay safer online.
- Use social media and messaging responsibly for community engagement and marketing.
Course structure & schedule
Blended — in-person workshops + guided remote sessions. Practical labs every week.
Duration6 weeks (2 sessions per week, 3 hours each) or an accelerated 3-week cohort (weekend intensive).
Modules- Intro to devices & operating systems
- Internet fundamentals & online safety
- Productivity tools: docs, sheets, slides
- Communication: email, messaging, scheduling
- Digital marketing basics & selling online
- Using phones for farm data & market access
Youth, farmers, women entrepreneurs, community group leaders and anyone who wants to use digital tools to grow livelihoods.
Module highlights
Hands-on lessons with practical outcomes — you will leave with a real plan to use digital tools for income/efficiency.
- Create and share documents, track simple budgets in a spreadsheet.
- Set up an email, use calendar invites and maintain contacts.
- Capture quality photos and list products on marketplaces.
- Protect your accounts: passwords, 2FA, spotting scams.
- Intro to simple digital bookkeeping and invoicing.
Support & devices
We provide training devices during in-person sessions when needed. We also help learners set up low-cost or free tools that run on basic smartphones.
